Sales Information, Terms & Conditions

Presentation:

All of my paintings are sold ready to hang. They are unframed but have been finished around the sides, top and bottom of the canvas (approx. 2cm thick), to be better enjoyed from all angles. This means that all you have to do is find a place to hang the painting, or choose a frame to suit your taste. All paintings are signed, dated and named on the reverse.

Payment:
 
I am happy to accept payment by cheque, postal order or direct bank transfer. If you would like to pay by cheque, please contact me first to ensure the painting is still available before you send it. For direct bank transfer, you can contact me to request my bank account details. In certain situations, it may be possible to arrange payment by invoice. Separate terms & conditions regarding payment dates and interest charges will apply to this method of payment. I am also working on adding PayPal as a payment option.

Shipping:

All paintings priced at £60 and below include the cost of postage. Above this, there will be an additional charge for postage. This charge will vary depending on the size and weight of the painting, and on the courier used to send them.

I aim to ensure that all paintings are posted within two days of payment clearing. Paintings will be sent securely packaged via the best available insured option, depending on their size. You will therefore probably need to provide an address where someone will be available to sign for the package when it arrives. In the unlikely event that the painting arrives damaged, I will provide a full refund, or discuss arrangements to replace the painting, whichever you prefer.

For shipping outside of the mainland UK, please contact me for details before ordering, as larger charges and restrictions may apply.

Returns:

If you receive a painting you have purchased and decide that you do not like it, I will accept a return or exchange for 14 days after receipt. I will issue a full refund (less shipping charges) providing the painting is returned in its original condition. If you would like to return an item or if there is a problem with the painting, please contact me first. In all cases, you are responsible for securely packaging and insuring the painting for its return.

Please note that copyright remains with the artist at all times. This means that you are not permitted to reproduce images of any of my paintings (either portrayed on this website or purchased from me, or through any literature connected with Fangorn Studio) for commercial use without my prior consent. However, if you are interested in using one or more of my images for your own projects, please contact me, as I will always be happy to consider requests.
